
A reputed taxi service company is currently hiring some taxi drivers to enlarge their business coverage. Taxi drivers are responsible for utilizing a vehicle that is leased from the cab company to pick up passengers from a specified location and quickly and safely deliver them to their drop-off destination. They are expected to provide professional and courteous service to all passengers
Job Description
Job Organization: All Access Taxi
Salary/ Remuneration: $13.00 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time (Day, Night, evening, weekend, early morning, morning, shift, on-call, Flexible Hours)
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
Driver’s License; Taxicab driver certification; Municipal taxi driver permit; Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C License (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Additional Skills
- Take the vehicle for servicing
- Clean and make minor repairs to the vehicle
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
Professional Skills
Candidates must have
- Lots of experience in driving cabs across three states, picking up passengers from the airport and railway station.
- Operational knowledge of the automotive functionalities of a car and its repairs
- Solid understanding of traffic rules, safety regulations, and fare collection policies.
- Proficient in skillful driving, avoiding traffic, taking shortcuts, and dropping off passengers in time to their destinations.
- Communication – Taxi drivers must be able to effectively interact verbally with dispatchers from whom they will receive passenger pick up instructions and with passengers from various levels of society who they are responsible for driving
- Map Reading – Maps may be utilized to determine the most efficient way to get a passenger to his or her destination
